we own a Honda CR-V which we purchased 2 yrs 5 months ago. We just returned home from a long trip, during that time we were 38 k from Ghundugi
in vic. When we had trouble with the car. We were on cruise control going up a hill passing a semi when the car lost power then regained it again, this continued to happen,we pulled into a truck stop when it completely lost power. We rang Honda roadside assist, we were attended 1hr. Later. The chap couldn’t work out what was wrong so put car on truck & took us back to Wagga Wagga to Honda dealer this was on Tuesday night. We were promised it would be looked at on Wednesday. But was not looked at until Thursday. The only thing they could come up with was the battery wasn’t charging. This battery is 3months old. They charged it & it was fine. They think something is draining the battery but don’t know what it is. It has them stumped ( their words). This is not the first time we’ve had trouble with the battery going flat it also happened when we had , had the car for a few months. Not like this but when we went to start it it was completely flat. We would like to know what is draining the battery so we can have it fixed. We weren’t happy with the service we received from Wagga Wagga as we were stuck in Wagga Wagga with no car in a motel room for two days. We would like to claim on our motel room as well as meals from you as this was caused by Honda . We have receipts that can be forwarded to you.
